Leica 6×7 Gallery Warsaw invites you on February 15 at 6 PM for the opening of Sonia Szóstak’s exhibition “Fortune teller told me”. This is the first individual show of this artist in Warsaw. The photographer will present a selection of her latest as well as earlier works. The exhibition takes up the subject of the female body seen through the prism of photography. We will see an example of outstanding photographic oeuvre with the participation of a model, Małgorzata Bela, which were created especially for the exhibition at the Leica 6×7 Gallery Warsaw.

Leica 6x7 Gallery Warsaw invites to the upcoming exhibition “With and Without You” by Danish photographer Jacob Aue Sobol, opening September 28th. A mid-career retrospective spans projects in Siberia, Guatemala, Greenland, Tokyo, Thailand, America, and his hometown of Copenhagen. the exhibition is a comprehensive showcase of Aue Sobol’s unique, visceral brand of black-and-white photography.

Leica 6×7 Gallery Warsaw invites to the first in Warsaw individual show of Alicja Biała. The exhibition entitled „Poland” is an extensive presentation of photo collages from the “Polish cut-outs” series. This series was originally created as a visual material for the poems of Marcin Świetlicki called „Poland (a set of patriotic songs)”, and finally turned into a performative action „Poland without offens”.

Bogdan Konopka invites for a special walk in the company of imagination, sensitivity and sight. All together, they are about to help to view spaces, objects and histories that the author captured with help of shadow and light. „Leçons de Ténèbres” exhibition consists of over 30 frames made with the larg-scale camera. All works are hand-made at Konopka’s Parisian atelier. Each and all of them are opening door to a different dimension of everyday life and memories, which are both poetic and softly disturbing.

Young, promising artist returns with a new series of large-scale photographs that are posing some serious existential questions. From the formal point of view, he is taking much from the old masters. The frames are dark and disturbing. Even though Wysocki’s vision has been organized with care for details, the viewer still finds own space for interpretation.

This is the second show of Tomasz Wysocki at 6×7 Leica Gallery Warszawa. The previous exhibition “Beginnings”, taking place in 2015, was the debut of this 25-year-old artist and gained exceptionally warm reception of the audience.
