The Leica APO-Televid spotting scopes can be transformed with the new 7-lens optical Leica DSLR adapter into a high quality telephoto lens. This adapter allows the use of digital and analogue system cameras from all major manufacturers with both Leica spotting scopes( APO-Televid 82 and APO-Televid 65th ) With 800 mm focal length (based on the small format) the new photo-adapter will help you obtain impressive and detailed wildlife shots from a great distance.

When using the new Leica Photo Adapter, it is attached instead of the regular eyepiece to the scope and secure attachment is ensured by a precisely engineered threaded mount. The connection to the camera via a standard T2 adapter.

Weighing only 230 grams, the Leica Photo Adapter is simple to use. the photographer can easily switch between portrait or landscape format via an additional pivot bearing and the adapter can be locked in each setting by a thumbscrew.

The Leica Photo Adapter is designed for cameras with full-frame sensors. Therefore, no shadowing result in the border area. In addition to digital SLR cameras, other digital system cameras (EVIL) and SLR cameras can be used - for example, the Leica R system. The only requirement is the availability of an appropriate T2 adapter.
