Use your camera as a force of change in the Crescent City with Leica and Momenta on April 11-15, 2018. Each student is responsible for developing a photo story about the mission of their assigned local non-profit. The workshop features a series of nightly lectures, business skills training and daily 1-on-1 personalize editing sessions with an instructor. In this workshop, students will learn how to use photography to further help non-profits make a change.
New Orleans is a vibrant city that's alive with organizations dedicated to building a stronger community in areas still suffering the effects of Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf Oil Spill. For the last 9 years, Momenta has been connecting photographers with nonprofits to capture and share the essence of their missions. All photographers will have an opportunity to loan a Leica M-system camera to shoot their photo story.
