Alfred Schopf

Alfred Schopf has been the CEO of the Management Board of Leica Camera AG since August 2010, where he is responsible for the Product Management, Sport Optics as well as Customer Care and Public Relations. From November 2009 to August 2010, Mr. Schopf was a member of the Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG,
 before which he occupied various managing positions in companies of the optical and optoelectrical industry. Between 2004 and September 2010, he was Managing Partner of K+H Armaturen GmbH, a specialist company engaging in the production of stainless steel components and systems. Since 2004, Mr. Schopf has also been a member of the Advisory Board of EOMAX Corporation (Toronto, Canada), a company manufacturing optoelectronic systems.
 From 2001 until 2004, Mr. Schopf, as head of management and CEO respectively, directed the business of ARRI (Munich), a company leading the world market in motion picture cameras and lighting systems for film sets and film and TV studios, as well as laser-based digital intermediate systems. Prior to his work at ARRI, Mr. Schopf was responsible at Jenoptik AG for the Optics, Microoptics, Optoelectronic Systems, Laser Technologies and Image Processing divisions.

Ronald Marcel Peters

Ronald Marcel Peters has acted as Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of Leica Camera AG since 1 April 2012, where he is responsible for Finance, Controlling, Treasury, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology and Human Resources. Mr. Peters brings to the role numerous years of experience in controlling and management in finance, IT and the optical industry. Until recently, he held the position of CFO at Leica Microsystems Group in Wetzlar, the leading manufacturer of microscopes and scientific instruments, a company with which Mr. Peters has been involved almost continuously since 1998. In 2008 Mr. Peters was the of CFO at Hach Lange Europe, a laboratory and online water analysis specialist. Both Leica Microsystems and Hach Lange Europe belong to the Danaher Corporation in Washington D.C., USA. Previous to this, his career included various functions in controlling within the packaging industry.

Markus Limberger

Markus Limberger has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) on the Board of Leica Camera AG with effect from 1 September 2011. In his function as COO, he is responsible for Procurement and Corporate Quality Assurance, Development & Engineering and the production facilities in Wetzlar and Famaliçao (Portugal). A graduate in industrial engineering, Mr. Limberger began his career in 1994 with Rodenstock Präzisionsoptik (now Qioptiq Photonics GmbH & Co. KG), a manufacturer of optomechanical and optoelectronic systems. After occupying several management positions in Logistics, Procurement and Production, the last position he held in the company was Manager of the Munich factory, overseeing a workforce of 150 employees. Mr. Limberger joined Uwe Weller Feinwerktechnik GmbH in Wetzlar as Managing Director in 2007. From this position, he ultimately relocated to Leica Camera AG in February 2011, where he occupied the position of Head of Operations until his appointment to the Board.

Oliver Kaltner

Oliver Kaltner is a member of the Executive Board since 1 September 2014, responsible for Marketing, Sales and Retail as well as the further development of trade and commercial partnerships. He has vast experience and knowledge in the Consumer Electronics and IT industry, Category Management and Brand Management. In his previous position, he was General Manager of Microsoft Germany GmbH and responsible for the Consumer Channels Group, where he successfully expanded sales and profit. As a member of the management board, he was responsible for transforming Microsoft Germany GmbH into a Devices & Services organization as well as the further development of the entire Change Management Process for the Consumer Business. Further stations in his career path were management and supervisory positions at Sky AG, Sony Deutschland GmbH, Electronic Arts GmbH und Nike GmbH, where he was responsible for Brand Management, Business Development and Sales Management.
